Last weekends activities with Alex

Last Friday night, Kynn and I took Alex shopping to buy new shoes. After the shopping, we met Bobby and Marlene at Crackel Barrel for dinner.
On Sat., Alex had the opportunity to clean his bathroom. Won't his Momma be proud of him? He said she would be very impressed.

Spirit Week/Homecoming at AC Flora

This week is spirit week at Flora. Each day of the week has a different theme. Today was costume day. Jamie, Alex, and Nic went to Target Sunday night and purchased their costumes. I am not real sure what they are or who they represent, (They told me but I am "Out of the KNOW". :) So, here they are......

At first glance, they really look like they have tattos. Scarey. Kynn and I want to borrow these for halloween. Jamie said, "NO!"

Birthday Party

Sunday night we celebrated Kynn's birthday. We ate at the "Ol Hamberger" and then came back to our house for cake and presents. Bobby and Marlene went with us. The guys rode in the back of the truck.

And, Marlene stumped her little toe. It was funny to everyone BUT Marlene!!!!

Microwave safety reminder

Yes....It's a picture of the microwave and we send a reminder message to everyone to be very careful when heating up food.

Last night, Jamie decided to reheat a bowl of chili for a late night snack. He removed the bowl of chili and all of a sudden, the chili exploded right in his face. It was extremely HOT. It splattered on his shirt and face. He did receive a burn under his left eye but fortunately that is all that was burned. Be careful everyone! Be sure to cover your food and let it sit for a minute or two before removing it from the microwave.
