Vacation June 2009

On Tuesday, June 16Th, our family headed to Palm Beach, Florida for a family vacation. After an eight hour ride we arrived in Juniper, Florida which is about 15 minutes from Palm Beach. Wed. we just hung out and got familiar with the area and prepared for 2 days of scuba diving. Thursday and Friday were diving days. I went along on the boat and kept watch while the guys were down under. Both days they took two dives and loved every minute of it. Christopher said, "I feel like I was swimming in the aquarium at Riverbanks Zoo." On the first day of dives, right as the captain gave the "OK", a monster size sea turtle came right up to the boat. I was amazed and so excited. (WHERE WAS MY CAMERA?) Thursday afternoon we all went snorkeling in the crystal blue water. Friday after the dives, we headed to Orlando for the night and stayed at the Grande Cypress Villa, which was very nice. Sat. morning we headed to SeaWorld for the day. Way back when, we took the boys to Sea World so it was fun to visit again. Sat. evening we drove to St. Augustine and on Sunday morning took a segway tour of that historic city.
