S-E-N-I-O-R-S are the best!
First day of school for Jamie. He is a senior and loving it. We took the annual picture on the front porch. I will be adding that picture tomorrow. It's our last time. We have always taken pictures on the front porch the first day of school. Next year, Daisy will have to sit by herself for the picture. Happy School Year Everyone!

My oldest started High School this year..I know I'm gonna blink and I'll be posting about his Senior year before I know it...Do you ever get overcome by thoughts of "Did I teach them all they should know?"
I have had lots of days like this lately..they really grow up fast. Blessings.

Yes, I have thoughts like that! I was cleaning out a cabinet the other day and came across some of my Growing Kids God's way notes. Honestly, I shed a few tears. One pointer I read was, instill in them early that God has a plan for their lives. Tell them often! So when Jamie came in the door I hit him with these words, "Jamie, do you know that God has a plan for your life?" He looked at me like I was crazy and said, "YES". Sigh, ok, He knows. Thank Goodness!I will continue to remind him. :)
